Hit the river today with Waderjon and Ratherbefishing. What a beautiful day it was. Water was fairly stained but clear enough for good fishing, water temps felt to be around 60. Air temp got into the mid 70\'s with little or no wind all day. Fish were biting OK but the ones that were biting were good size. I caught 9 total and the smallest was around 1.5lbs, the rest were all over 2.

Here\'s my first fish of the day a nice 2lb plus shoalie.

Not long after that I caught this very nice 3-1 spotted bass.

The highlight of the day was this 5-2 largemouth.

My fish came on spinnerbaits and swimbaits. What a day to be on the river. Feel like my batteries have been recharged. Enjoyed fishing with Ratherbefishing andWaderjon. RBF lost a really nice LM right at the boat as I recall.

I'd say river bassin is an efficient way to charge the batteries alright and I'd say you certainly got your money's worth out of that charge! Yee Haw to that 5lber!

Darn, I sure wish we had some waters around here that could hold a candle to these Georgia reports.

I would like to thank all the riverbassers that stayed home to watch football or went deer hunting cause we had the river all to our selves..It was an awesome day to be on the water..Warning to you wise fishermen in the southeast…The fall bite is on and you better not miss it..

SSF caught the most fish and the biggest…WTG John…I only boated a couple but the were not bad fish..I think we would have done better if the dam operator guy had not opened up the gates on us so early today..

I enjoyed it RBF and SSF it was cool that you could come up and join us…WTG on the big fish…
