Chattahoochee Flooding

<p>Guys, here are some of the pics from the recent flooding. The rivers normal level is around 4.25 feet at paces mill and rose to over 28&#39;!!!! Last night. I took some photos of the area for those who have been here. I live right next to this but up on a hill so no flooding for me&hellip;</p>

<p>Above is the Field at Paces Mill and as you can see the out house is almost completely under water.</p>

<p>This is a feeder creek that has been taken over by the Hooch. It is about 30&#39; from apartments.</p>

<p>Above is the parking lot at Paces Mill. Water has completely enveloped everything.</p>

<p>Rottenwood creek has nearly taken over this bridge which is normally 10-15&#39; above the water level.</p>

<p>I have a few more pics but these pics were taken yesterday before the river crested. I hope everyone is safe and i hope the river levels come down soon.</p>

well i had some good picks at franklin ,the main chanel of the lake ,the dam,and west point but, the site wont let me post them. Whats goin on with it?

<p>This was the building and field covered...now with mud.</p>

<p>The trees caught all the grass in the river being pushed down...about 7-8&#39; up in the trees.</p>

<p>This is the second bridge to Rotten Wood Creek around normal capacity...</p>

<p>The Bridge that had flooded about to cross rottenwood creek.</p>
<br />

<p>The river is filthy and is going to need all the volunteers we can get to help clean it up. Please volunteer somewhere because they are people who are going to have to pay for their flood damage on their own because they didn&#39;t have flood insurance.</p>

That is wild comparing those first photos to those last ones you posted!

<p>I am really interested to see how they try and clean all the mud off. they can take vehicles down there but they run the risk of getting stuck now...they is also an UNBELIEVABLE amount of trash coming off the highways into the river from the run offs. We will be doing what we can to help clean the river and help keep it clean.</p>

JnR, try putting the [IMG] code in from photobucket (if you use it) into the text box.&nbsp; The new update now allows us to insert pictures by simply doing that.&nbsp; We&#39;re working on the uploading thing but I didn&#39;t even know anything about it until today so hopefully we can get it fixed soon.&nbsp; If anything like that ever happens just shoot me a PM so I can know and take care of it ASAP for you guys.&nbsp;
