Hit some new water today and caught a few fish. I got on the water at about 2:30 and left at 7:30, the fishing was a little slow at first, but it picked up after about 5. I was throwing my usual, a popper, but I tried it in a few different colors, white seemed to be get the most action. The water in this creek was pretty clear and the bottom was not as sandy as other creeks in the area. There was more clay and even a few rocks, which caught me by surprise. The current was slower than other creeks in the area as well and that meant more calm, flat water sections. I caught more largemouth in this creek than any other I've fished and I think the calm sections had something to do with that. Don't get me wrong though, I still caught more spots than largies. Plenty of longears and even a few shadow bass in the creek too. On to the pictures:

Shoot, that\'s more than a scout trip that\'s a flat out fishin trip man! Nice job FT! That popper is just deadly on those small flows.
