<p>The girlfriend and I decided to do a quick overnighter last weekend on the Middle Brazos.</p>
<p>We caught a few fish when we weren't spending most of our time in the shade or in the water. It was 103 degrees on Sat. and 104 on Sun., so we didn't exhaust too much energy chasing the fish.</p>
<p>Brandi was a trooper. I'm a lucky man to have a lady that will hit the river with me on occasion. The dogs, Dixie and Hannah, also had a good time playing and exploring around camp.</p>
