What are some of the good ones you have fished ? Ive fished almost all of eastern OK and have come to favor The Mountain fork, Glover, Elk, And my home favorite the Barron fork(technicaly a creek but a very good one). I would like to meet more people interested in Oklahoma and Arkansas because I feel that they are widely overlooked areas for great smallmouth and beautiful rivers.

I love the Upper Mountain Fork river. I have never fished the Barron but have always wanted too, I might hit you up on some info on it.

Cole the Barron fork can be great especially when the small-mouth are spawning. The only down side is that the flows can get low in the summer. Even when the bite is slow i have still always caught lots of redeye, warmouth, rockbass whatever you want to call them. This year will be the first time that I actually get to float it as I have always just wadded before I finally got a kayak. If you ever go don't forget to stop by one of the local gas stations or bait shops to buy a bracelet it is required and the warden does check in often.

Cole,

Have you ever fished Spavinaw creek between the spillway and lake Hudson? I have always liked the way it looks and am thinking of trying it.

No I have not, but it is beautiful! If you end up fishing it, let me know how it goes. Oklahoma is a sleeper when it comes to river fishing.
