I had a good year last year especially size wise, with MANY 30+ lbers caught and released. Unfortunately the majority of the big ones were caught in calm water near where the rivers meet the lakes that have stripes. I did pretty well in the rivers and got a few big fish by casting out a live gizzard shad or big bream about 4-5 feet under a balloon and letting it float down the rapids over the deeper holes. Here is a picture of one of the biggest ones caught with that method. Dirk

Drew, it showed a full-size picture when I made the post but when I saved it it shrunk it down????? Never had this problem and not sure how to fix, as that picture should take up most the screen. Dirk
